Tweaking the mount and the focus I took several days struggling with the aluminum mount base plate. On the first try, the south celestial pole was just 2 degrees out of the adjustment range, and I needed to find a local mechanic on the next day to drill new screw holes for me. Then I have finally assembled the AP mount, and easily made the polar alignment using the RAPAS polar telescope. Finally all the pieces were in place, and I was able to connect the CCD. The focus was perfect too!
