As a still kicking 71, I observe and image from my countryhouse roof, 40°50' N, 17°19' E, Selva di Fasano, Italy, using a Meade 7” apo refractor riding a reary-to-go SkyWatcher AZ EQ6 mount, after a troubled change from the old (but still valid) Losmandy G-11. Imaging camera for deep sky is Atik 428 mono, guide camera Atik Titan, planetary DMK21AU618. I am ready with the setup on the roof at the end of civil twilight, after gardening/orcharding (or sailing/swimming/dive-fishing in summer) and image until midnight to 1 a.m. Sometime I am lucky that everything, weather included, works....more...
