Veil Nebula Eastern Arm Mosaic Mosaic of the eastern arm of the Veil Nebula. 3 frames, 2 hours exposure each (6x1200s each) through a color ccd camera. Processed in PixInsight. I was going to complete the area, but I moved the camera so it is more oriented to the telescope plane. I'm moving on to a mosaic of the witch's broom instead. Cheap telescope (Meade LX90 8 inch) on a good used mount (G11) with a crappy focal reducer. Frames: 18x1200" Location: StarMaker Observatory, Camano Island, WA, United States
